Located on Seattle’s Capitol Hill with commanding views of Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains, this house was extensively reorganized to provide a graceful flow between indoor and outdoor spaces while incorporating design elements that reflect the owners’ enthusiasm for traditional Italian art and architecture. 

The entry to the home was relocated, allowing for a private courtyard that extends to terraced gardens and a spacious loggia with a glass roof and classical detailing that provides an open, airy space protected form the elements.  Handcrafted metal gates and railings, and Italian lighting fixtures complement the owners’ collection of antiques assembled during their extensive travels.
